Virtual Listen and Learn session on the Baltimore City Eviction Study (the Stout Report) held on June 16th from

On June 16th we held our first (hopefully of many!) Virtual Listen and Learn session on the Baltimore City Eviction Study (the Stout Report). The Stout Report, released in May of this year, “show(s) a massive racial disparity making evictions a civil rights issue related to contemporary discrimination in housing access, displacement, and economic inequality linked to the legacies of segregation, policies, and practices directed against persons of color.” Charrise Lue from Public Justice Center presented an overview of the report and answered many questions. We also learned more about the Cancel the Rent Campaign in Maryland and concluded with an excellent brainstorming session the ways Beyond the Boundaries can continue our work towards meaningful change.

On February 4, 2020 at 1:00pm we gathered at the Md State House to show our support for the Home Act! How exciting when the Bill was passed and signed into LAW!!!

On February 29th we were proud to be a part of the Social Ministry Convocation. Our Workshop on Affordable Housing was well received!
